It is a BFN. I was holding out tremendous hope as everything was "picture perfect" this cycle. 3 amazingly perfect follies according to RE, great EWCM, excellent count and motility. Everything except a fertilization. I will continue with IUI and oral meds, another failed IUI and we will swith to injectibles. I can't do IVF until Sept for insurance reasons(we could pay, but if that fails we won't have money left for adoption, so we had to weigh it out).
We were planning to start foster parenting classes in January, which I think we should do. Even if I do get pg, we have been talking about adopting one of my students who is 16 and does not have a forever family. Once she ages out of the system, she will have to live in a group home. She has been my student 2 years, and would be fine with a baby/child in the house. The classes are the first step to adoption. That would not change our plans for conception or adopting another baby/toddler. I think I'll try to focus on that right now.
