Thought you chaps might be interested in my second homemade watch. some of you may remember my last posting about a month ago and spurred on by the encouragment i recieved i thought i would have another go.
again the watch is stainless steel construction, this time though it has a russian made Molnija mechanical movement fitted. Though not the best movement in the world i think they are fairly bullet proof and should last a fair time, fingers crossed. Im not going to ramble on so i will let the pics do the talking!!!!
Once again i would appreiciate any feedback good or bad, i would especialy like your thoughts on the plain face!!! what do you think? should i have the indices or numbers does it look good or bad??? just gotta think of the back engraving now.
I am realy happy with this one and may bung it on ebay and see what happens???
The last pic is with number one, made in jan this year.
measurements are 55mm across including crown,60mm top to toe and 11mm thick. 24mm between lugs.
anyhow thanks for looking and all the very best to all of you.
info added 1 mar. watch now listed on ebay. thanks to everyone for your kind words
