The man himself……..Jean-Claude Biver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He had invited me to Nyons on my next visit to Geneva. My afternoon freed up, so I called him and he immediately told me to come over.
So, I hopped on the train, and off I went to Nyons, where JC picked me up from the station for a quick lunch before heading back to the office:
Jean-Claude is a very captivating speaker and wealth of knowledge and insight on the industry.
During lunch, we let me try on a one-of proto-type that I promised I wouldn’t post until it’s introduction in April, but I cropped the photo to show JC’s drawing skills as he outlined the complexities of the ceramic bezel:
Back at the office, I also had a chance to see a new model for 2008 (once again, I was sworn to secrecy). Here’s JC examining and commenting on the results (once again, sorry for the cropping and hiding of the parts):
I then had a tour of the work shop:
RG cases:
Kevlar inserts:
How about some bling???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How about a lot of bling, LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Special Edition for the Swiss National football (soccer) team:
One is not enough?????????????????????
A few other goodies:
WOW, more RG cases!!!!!!
Me and the ‘main man’ in the repair department…..he seemed a little lonely, like the Maytag repair man, LOL!!!!
I finally said my good-bye before I overstay my welcome, LOL….
I have more photos, but sadly I cannot post them at this time, so I’m sure you’ll understand.
Time for me to head back to Geneva:
On the train:
This post is getting long enough and I still have two GTG’s to post. So, I’ll end it here and prepare Part 2 for posting tomorrow.
Thanks for looking & Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!
