I've been thinking quite seriously about getting a Jagdbomber or Bombardier.
They look to be lovely watches.

feel it fits you ?

i have a 7 5/8" wrist, and am curious what you think about its size,
as the 47mm case has worried me a bit...

thank you, jeff

You may be amazed but..

I am a little over 7" max 7"1/4 after a good meal. I wear it with ease. I sport the BR01 at 46mm squared with no problem.

I am not so sure about some of the 55mm watches out ther for my wrist but I say 47mm is not a problem at all.

However this is a Greg Strap. The traditional "Crazy Horse".

You have to admit that is one hell of a name.

Bravo to Greg.

Replica Schmeplica

May 18 2007, 1:32 PM

I really tend to swing both ways - Original and Homage.

I am not embarrassed to admit I own a few "homage" watches and I am happy for what they are and what they bring me in pleasure. It is personal.

It is not always a money thing but there is a serious amount of snobism and hipocrates out there that always have something negative to say about commemoratives watches.

I say it is like someone who buys a porsche speedster "replica" car. It is probably made to the same exacting standards as the original one and by real craftsman. Because you cant go to porsche speedster today you find a solution to meet your need.

It is not about walking around wearing a fake rollies with all the brands and markings copied to fool or fraud people. It is the pleasure of ownership of something from a bygone time. No fake brands or markings.

Sorry about the dribble.

It's a great watch period - loads of people made >

that style of watch as you know - but the Azimuth modern version is one of the best looking IMHO and as I say sells for a good price also - I would consider it a homage watch - not a replica at all.
