2 very nice features,
One is the articulated rubber - metal links coated with rubber, great feel
The other is the mechanical 80m depth meter. The principle is the same as in the Atmos clock, very simple and reliable diaphragm. This depth meter is not really certified but it is a nice unique solution. The thought is it will give a good indication and backup since today, any diver will dive with a computer anyway....(the Panerai depth meter is electronic and requires a battery,,,,,but it is certified)...
btw, the button on top of the left depth meter element just applies manual pressure that moves the depth meter hand,,,for no purpose other than playing with it
