So far I've been satisfied with the MM25. I bought it from Time Will Tell along Bencoolen St. on a recent trip to Singapore.
I was hesitant to buy it a first because of the original strap. I wasn't a big fan of the rivets. Luckily, they had a demo unit which had a strap hand stitched on it. With some pleading, Richard sold the unit.
I missed the boat on the MM25, so forgive me if my questions sound a bit ignorant. Are the wire lugs permanent, as in welded to the case, that's why you had the new strap sewn into the watch? I too am not a fan of the riveted strap on the watch. I mean, rivetted straps look great on pilot's watches, but not on the MM25 IMHO.
I am obsessed with the MM25 now, I want one! I had the MM20 before and was very satisfied with the quality of RXW, and I am sure that the MM25 is of high quality too. I actually just came from a Panerai AD and was quoted $7K+ for a PAM 232 and although I did not ask about the California-dialed PAM 249, the prices I've seen for it in the net is around the $10K range. The MM25 would satisfy my 47mm radiomir-style watch thirst and leave me some money to use once the 47mm Fiddy Base is released by Panerai, which would be hopefully at the SIHH in January 09.
Thanks again pare,
Andy

Kamusta pare. As shown in Ren's great pics, the lugs are welded in. I think thats the same as the original world war 2 watch.
In the sales board, most of the ones for sale are about Sing 1,500.00. Thats about a bit over USD 1000. The web site price is less than USD 800. However, the site closed down.
I also like the version shown by Ren. However, I have not seen any for sale.
