First Big Watch

Hi Readers,

I have finally got around to buying my first big watch. See below.

Nothing fancy I know, but it is a start. I am a first time poster and have only recently come across your forum. As I have not worn a watch for at least 25 years, I have a question for you all. Is there factors that determine which hand you wear your watch? I assume that your dominate hand will play a roll! I also guess that the side of the watch that the dials are on may have something to do with it! Or does other hand jewellery help with the decision making! Any feed back is greatly welcome. Cheers, Mark.

Hey Mark...congratulations on the purchase of your first watch in 25 years.I think you would generally find that if you are left handed, the watch would go on your right hand...and vice versa.

How about you post a pic of you and your new bling up, for us all to see....I, as many others do, get enjoyment from seeing fellow watch lovers and their treasured timepieces.

Anyway...good luck.

Dominant hand better without watch

...if you tend to do anything involving fast and or powerful movement with it, like throwing or playing Tennis for example. Especially with big, heavy watches like the ones we here love.

I don't see a problem with wearing a lefty watch on the left arm, I actually thought that was the idea, for the crown not to press against the back of your palm or get caught in whatever it might get caught in...

Hiya Mark.....nice first watch bro. Solid, but not too solid. It fits nicely with the dimensions of your arm.
Edward.
