I have Welcome to the Great Mysterious on order at my library, so since I had to wait for that one to come in I picked up a couple of Lorna's other books.
I liked the picture on the cover..lol..but in reading it, it's about a group of women who all live near each other and despite their different life stories and histories come together and bond a very close friendship thru a book club they start.
Needless to say this made me smile and think of the little club we're trying to start here. I would like to suggest this for our first discussion.
I also would like to set up a time once a month to all get together in chat to discuss our books we choose to read together.
I am almost done with this book because I cannot put it down, and it really is a good book. I usually read more then one book from any given author so I can get a feel for their writing,,and because I don't like one doesn't mean I won't like another.
It's a really easy, good, can't put it down to go to sleep kind of book!
I have been reading books by Jean Sasson all about women in Iran and Saudi Arabia and how they are treated..very sad...
