I have a small paperback book called, The Diet Alternative by Diane Hampton, she is the one who mentioned Eat Whatever Is Set Before You. And she referenced Luke 10: 7, 8 and also Matt 6:25 which reminds us not to give great thought on what we are to eat. Also 1 Timothy 4: 1-4. Just sharing some of the verses this book mentioned. But as in ALL things, I don't think there is one clear best path for all of us. For instance, my Mom and oldest sister have hemochromotosis, it is inherited and iron builds up in their systems and they have to go for "blood letting", which is like giving blood but the blood is pitched as no one wants it. So if they don't do that, the iron will build up to toxic levels and kill major organs, thereby could kill them. So they have to watch how much protein they eat. But someone without hemochromotosis, wouldn't have to watch. And you mentioned OA once. I have a lot of their books and still get their monthly newsletter as I think they have some valid points also. I also have a couple Weigh Down Workshop books, and that author really brought a lot of the Old Testament to life for me.
