Feeling tired and beaten, for some reason. OT

I'm just feeling really blue. My laptop was KO'ed by viruses and I just got it back yesterday. I'm rather angry, as I have McAfee and it runs every week and says there are no problems, updates itself nearly every time I go online and yet I was told that my computer was overrun with viruses! Many of my programs are gone and the repair place loaded programs I don't need, won't ever use, so that it doesn't even feel like my computer anymore! It feels like I'm starting all over with it. The programs that are still there don't have the right icons; I've never seen that happen before. I have to track down some that I found online before. The only good thing is, it's actually fast now, but it cost me $260!

On top of that, my cat Tyler is still losing weight and we don't know why. So far we've ruled out diabetes. In the 2 weeks between appts. she went from 8 lbs. to 7.13. Now I need to get a fecal sample. I'll have to wait till after the 1st for that, due to money. The two appts. cost $64 and $175 respectively. So far the state's budget crisis has cost me 2 cuts in my monthly check and it looks like social services and the poorer people, who need the help, are going to bear the brunt of any future cuts as well.

Maybe having shared my problems will help me feel better. Hugs to you all!
