treadmill (since I only do a max of 30 min at a time usually) but rather on the positive benefits -- improved cardiovascular fitness, increased metabolism (that "burn" that lasts all day!), increased production of enkephalins and endorphins, the feel good brain hormones, and increased lower body muscle mass -- and those are the biggest muscles in your body, your butt and leg muscles, and they burn calories all day long, even when you're asleep!

THAT makes it a whole lot more rewarding!

Also, I always do better when I exercise . . . funny how that works!
