I make a variety of smoothies....mby motherbear (Login baseballnana)
My first one in the morning I add 1/4cup of dry oats into. I also put in a tablespoon of hersheys baking cocoa powder when I make a smoothie with frozen bananas AND/OR frozen mixed berries or frozen strawberries.
I add one splenda to it.
I also make smoothies with costco's frozen mixed fruits and I make one with frozen cubes of canned pumpkin.
In the frozen pumpkin one I add some cinnamon, splenda and a little vanilla. Sometimes I put a piece of frozen banana in with it for texture.
So I have quite a variety of smoothies I use.
I never have just banana because they are not as satisfying for as long. I just freeze a lot of peeled bananas in cuts of about 1/4 banana. So my fridge freezer has a variety of gallon bags of frozen fruits and I can whip up a smoothie in nothing flat. Problem is that they are soooooo good that I can also drink them in nothing flat!!
Most of them only count as 3 points because the only thing I have to count is the NF milk.
My first one of the morning I count as 5points because I add that bit of oats to it.
If I add that powdered peanut butter then I'd add points also.
I definitely don't have any problem eating enough dairy or fruit because of the smoothies. Next best thing to ice cream. Judy
