I have put over 400 pellets through this monster and it's still going strong on one fill. It cost me $3 to fill the 9oz paintball canister. I took two cart/clips and glued them together. Just pull out and flip and Im good for another blazing 13 pellets! I have a NC illuminated mini scope 9x12x40 on top. Adapter is cut reverse bulkfill. Shoots as fast as I can pull and more important it's damn accurate. You gotta love the 1077

Max does make nice stuff!!!!!! got well over 25,000 shots thru ours and it just keeps getting better!!!!

thinking about getting a slinky hose to get the tank off the gun...bulk is definatly the way to go for the 1077.....

I absolutley love the clip Idea! I was thinking about making a new casing for the clip to give it a more extended and realistic look.

Great Job!

Clip size

June 7 2003, 11:49 AM

I rather like the clip size as it is...makes benchrest/prone shooting easier, for those of you who have ever attempted to go prone with a Romanian 40 shot magazine inserted into you SAR/AK you know the feeling! I AM however in the process of milling out some old "beater" FN/FAL magazines for use as a housing, just for giggles, would anyone be interested in these?

I would be interested in it. I am trying to accomplish something like that. Oh and I know how it feels to prone with a 30rnd mag for an sks! I see your point. But if you have a bipod and an ar handled stock longer clips wioll be just fine!

Here's the setup I have envisioned for my 1077W (the synthetic stocked one is my "sniper" setup, i'm trying to get it to look as close to my Remington PSS as possible). I'm going for an M14 style look on this one.:
*Set screw on a Birdcage flash hider w/bayonet lug
*Install Bayonet
*Remove laquer, stain wood more red to look like a birch M14 stock
*Fit on an M14/M1 garand rear sight onto the scope rail right behind the scope (easily done witha bit of dremel work and some lock tite)
*4X scope with flip up scope covers
*Lace on leather cheekpiece (GI issue)
*refinish metal parts
*paint plastic parts
*Re-fit FN/FAL magazine to fit over box (real M14 mags are ridiculously expensive (at least the ones worth buying), I get FAL mags at around 6 bucks a pop)
By the end, it should look fairly nice, the flash hider and bayonet already draw nice looks every time ive put this on display at a gun show, if enough people show interest I might start doing these conversions for them on an individual basis, as M14/M1 parts are easy to come by. The other gun is set up currently with a fake silencer I took off of a Cobray M11, looks pretty neat and always looks neat, people do a lot of double takes. As a gun owner, I LOVE collecting airgun copies of real guns, makes good training and also....just....fun! I'm very proud to have a Daisy copy of a micro-UZI, they did not make very many of these, what with daisy being so pc...good site, you have here.
