Just got a 1077 and am very impressed, use a HW35 for hunting but this is great for plinking - break barrels no fun after a while.

Found the gun too light so filled up the Stock with wood dowels. Much better balanced now, was too muzzel heavy as standard. IMHO.

Anyone know where I can get a metal trigger?

Instead of using wooden dowels for the butt, why not borrow an idea from military service rifles and do what I do:
I keep the following in my crosman buttstock:
*Cleaning rod (taken down to 3 parts, all parts including brish and stay are taped together)
*Gun Oil
*Spare rotary mag (NOT mag housing)
*Micro Leatherman tool
*Spare C02 cartridge
*cleaning patches
This adds some weight, plus it's functional!
