Howdy! Finally logged in...this is ol' TW here! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has made a pistol conversion for the 1077...the way I see it, i could chopp down the butt and work on some sort of pistol grip (there are a million AR grips lying around the shop...) whack the barrel down, and...voila. Sort of like the old Enforcer versions of the M1 carbine Iver Johnson used to make (which, by the way, are great fun. Used to have one, traded it...ARRRRG) I know the front sight has some way of securing the barrel, but given the large amount of spare parts we have lying around we should be able to work around that...BTW, we mounted the 26.5mm flare gun to one of the 1077's in stock, only problem we have encountered so far is that of the fact that we have to stick to reloads loaded to low levels, factory loaded flares and smoke for the 37mm will, over time, exert too much pressure on our (fairly flimsy) mounting system. TW out!
You mean something like a sawed off shotgun?
U havent tried it yet. I was thinking about doing something like that also. I of course never got around to doing it. Heck I hardly get around to do anything other than design and dream!
yea i sawed down the stock and yea it is still pretty long so i chomped the barrel and it had shit accuracy and like not as much power so yea its cool with no stock you need some filler caus the stock is hollow and i like molded it with filler and had like a hand grip. do the stock but not the barrel.
