Run a search on the internet. there are a variety of companies that can accomodate your needs. Here are some I have used over the years:
TAPCO
SARCO
SOG (southern ohio gun works)
GPC (Numrich Gun Parts Corporation)
Cheaper than Dirt
J&G sales
CDNN Investments
Inter Ordnance
Here are some companies to STAY AWAY FROM In my experience:
Hesse/Vulcan Arms (dangerous FAL recievers!)
Solstice Arms International (is under suit by state of Kansas for bad business practice)
Magua Industries (trouble with the BATFE)
The above "no" companies have all been in legal trouble and have had to provide the government with copies of their sales reciepts, which is BAD news for the end user. If there is a particular part you are looking for, I myself may be able to help you. Are you looking for purely cosmetic features? This is important, as you can save a LOAD of cash. Frankly, the 1077 is a great gun for its price, but it's no Beeman or RWS, at its heart it will be what it is. For your intended purpose (which I hope for YOUR sake as a private citizen, gotta say this as a cop, is purely theatrical or for demonstration/training purposes, I am building an M14 looking crosman for training purposes) this may be the way to go...I guarantee that you could EASILY spend more than the 60 bucks for the rifle on accessories, by that point you might as well pick up a real rifle and trick it out! Any questions, I'll be glad to help!

For starters silencers are illegal here in the states. And that is not a silencer that you see on the gun at the top of the page. Its called a muzzle break. A muzzle break has nothing to do with the sound. It does not reduce the sound in any way.

If he's in the UK, he can grab a silencer. I had a nice webely silencer on a .177 diana when I lived overseas. Honestly, the muzzle brake serves little purpose other than cosmetic on an airgun. Were it a break barrel model, it would provide additional gripping surface, but, on this gun, it's purely cosmetic, and I myself would just stick on a flash hider/bayonet lug device on the end, looks sweet, and you can mount all sorts of things to the bayonet lug. Stock extensions can be found in any sporting goods store, pachmayr makes a good slip on model for light work.
A good justification for having an air rifle is CHEAP target shooting and CHEAP practice for your home defense rifle (which could save both you and your wife's life someday). It's easy to practice short range drills with the 1077, as it's fairly light, and it;s about the same length as my current defense rifle. Also makes for good pest control, as its WAY quieter than a regular rifle.

Well, If you are building a silencer why not just make a "Sound Suppressor"? This way if BATFE says anything about you making a silencer you should just play stupid innocent blond guy! It might just work to. Oh I was buiding a sound suppressor, I didnt know they were like illegal or anything. Please forgive me. Here have a beer or two!
I tried making a silencer just to see if it couild be done with house hold products. And sure enough it can! 2 diferent sized washers, a long spring cut in to sections, steel wool, and a welding rod.
If I got a hold of the uk silencer, would I be able to tack weld it to the 1077 to make it "non removable"?
Say Uncle, from what I understand, and read in many postings, it is of no interest what your muzzle can, silencer, suppressor is mounted to. BB gun, pellet gun or firearm. It makes no difference. It's all about the silencer itself. You're taking a big risk in building one. All it takes is a pissed of neighbor who sees you with it. And like TW keeps saying. The 1077 doesn't produce much of a noise anyways. Build a running weight instead. It'll add weight to your barrel and help to keep you longer "in the bull".
Well, whatever you do, good luck and stay out of trouble! Cheers!
*Aerosmith member Steven Tyler did this a little while *back with an M249 SAW upper reciever conversion for a *MAC-11 lower (sounds like it wont work but it does), *the unit is past prototype stage and is almost in *production, as it was ATF approved as a semi *automatic non assault rifle (obviously the flash *hider has been neutered, along with a few other *things). Sorry about the length!
"Dip dang dog gone wow! That them there is some info I never say!"
Heh, I never could be a Hill Billy. Anyways, I never knew Steven Tyler was into firearms. I do know that Lou Furrigano (can't spell his lastname :P) is big/passionate on airguns. Any other big name people/stars that are passionate advocates of airguns?
