gas exscaping along barrel

hi i picked my 1077 out of the draw where i keep it an went to fire it , finding the co2 empty i unsrewed the thingie and tipped out the co2 cartridge i placed in the new one and began screwing it shut. At the point where it gets tight enough to perertrate the cartrige i had co2 gas hissing out around the top of the barral near where the barrol meets the part with the front site on it, may have hissed out other places too i couldnt tell though . WHATS HAPPANING!!!!!! ive only had it about a month ive shot maybe 7 co2 cartridges through it please has anyone else had this problem ??? please help an feel free to email me dirtectly too at acupoftea85@hotmail.com

I hope you still have the recipt! That happend to me before. What ha[[end is the tube to the valve blew a seal. I had to buy a new valve from Crosman for about 14.00. That also just recently happend to my friend. He took it back tot he store and traded it in for a new one.

Hope you bought it from Wallyworld. If you did then just return it. Wally is king for returns for most things. YOu might get a odd look if you're returning underwear or airguns. Not that I'd know about the underwear part.
