Been thinking about the 1077 recently and after reading what some other posters posted about making a AR-15 style 1077 it got me thinking. Has anyone here experimented on making a extending pull out stock, folding stock, SPAS shotgun over the top or under the barrel fold stock?

Also how about making a AK-47 style or Dragunov style? If I recall right the 1077 stock is just injected plastic (on the composite model. I own both walnut/composite) and same with the grip area. So anyone wanting to hollow out the stock is welcome to do so. I fyou do do a mod could you please post step-by-step/hot-to pictures for the rest of us. I'm not a handy person but I'm looking for simple mods first then build up my skill to make better mods. Also because I don't have much cash to mod as well. So always good to do mods with what's around you for parts. Keeps costs low.

Hi-cap or extended magazines?

July 21 2003, 1:09 PM

After seeing that poster with the flip over magazine mod it really got me thinking more how to improve and keep the reloading down. If anyone has seen the SKIFF-3000 design you can already see where I'm going with this post already. If not, here check this link out http://www.anics.com (I hope memory serves me well on that link). Look at the SKIFF-3000 magazine design.

Now I know the idea is a good idea for modding the mag to go hi-cap but then again it'll need someone with some skills to make it happen. The Skiff design is based on the 28round "elevator" rotation system. Now if there is a way to get that on the 1077 then you're rocking. If you can get the 28round to become a reality then going "automatic" as another poster suggested would be more worth it then going auto with 12round clips.

Pistol grip mod

July 21 2003, 1:13 PM

If I cut off the stock is there a way to get a AR-15 grip or that style of grip on the 1077? I kow if you cut off the stock the grip is still useable but it's kind of a slopey curved grip.

Phantasy Star Online mod idea

July 21 2003, 3:08 PM

I'm sure there are some gamers out there know what I'm thinking already. If I could upload the image I would but for some reason I can't on this BBS so I'll try to post a website so you can see what I mean.

Well there is the link for the rifle mod. I know if you have time and put your mind to it, it is do'able. Now that will make a wicked cosplay. For those which are not into Anime, cosplay means COStume PLAYer. Where someone makes a outfit of a anime/comic/videogame/sketch character. There are LOTS of good cosplay out there. Cool guys and nice ladies. Let me say that last part again, NICE ladies.

http://www.cosplay.com is a good place to check out some good stuff.

Well would be cool if I can get that PSO rifle design done. After that I might see how good I am at sewing my own outfit.

Well I'll keep pluging ideas as they come so others can possible start a project and help pass the tips/ideas around.

Matt:

I guess if I post a link for a image the BBS will automatically make that image appear here but I'm having problems uploading images.

Yah that Phantasy Star Online (PSO) mod would be sexy! I always love anime/game props but don't want to cut wood to shape. I always want something funtional if I need to shoot with it I can have something nice looking to shoot with as well!

Right now I have no plans on the making on that PSO mod. I'm looking into making it when I find time and build up some skill level. Thanks for the welcome on the board. Yah I've seen TW's posts around the place. S/He has some nice posts. BTW is there a way to edit a post if I've posted it like 1-2 days ago?

Well I am not sure about editing a post. I know I can but thats becasue I am the owner of the forum. Maybe if I payed network 54 12.00 a month it will give me that feature. And it will eliminate the pop ups.

Scouting some more pictures for PSO mods or any good anime/comic/videogame gun to mod. Now I know the guns in the picture are SMG and about the size of the mp5 (my guess) so to make a 1077 version you'll have to make the guns in the image a bit larger but then again that character is a Mecha (I think) and would be a bit large so the sizing would come out right :D

I think your first pic is mor easy in the terms of smithing. I can try to make a look alike using tin foil!

July 23 2003, 8:17 AM

MAtt:

Question is, how do you fashion thyself a pistol grip when the 1077's grip is a slanted curve.

I think the two pistol guns I listed before are doable with a TechForce TF5-10 or a Crosman 2240/2250. Mmmmm... anime/game mods. wipes fanboy drool
