Ok all,

Wanted to start a price thread here. I've seen the Chinese B-3 AK-47 before caled the "hercules" somewhere before but I wanna get a price thread here oging with AS MANY STORES as one can find to help everyone out there. Yah it's a nice unique air-rifle.

I want people to post .177 and .22 cals please. If there is a higher cal please post those too (I doubt it but leaving that option open for there are a lot of modders)

Thank you kindly to everyone that helps. Wanna keep the price gouging low.

Jezz, this message board sure spams you with a LOT of pop ups. :P

Anyways here is the Hercules on South Summit
.177/.22 at $59.95 USD

http://216.122.173.107/hercules.html

I wonder if they'll break me a deal on buying both the .177 and .22 .

Looks good that they have the .22/.177 at the same price. Yah you lose speed but you get more knockdown with the .22 and seeing how I'm starting to favor the .22 over .177 I'm slowly moving away from .177 so I can share ammo with my RWS707 .22

Aaron,

Well I'm sorry on the mis-spelling of your name. I am on the east coast and it was about 0600 I think when I wrote that and I've been up most of the night packing to help someone move to thier new place for school.

Once again sorry for the mis-spelling on your name. It was not intentional. Please don't go scrapping on me. I mean, of all the times I've said your name in the past this is the first time I've messed up your name. Grab a cold one and chill down.

September 1 2003, 7:34 PM

I forgot who mentioned it but they said to put a fake AK-47 magazine on the AK-47 pellet air-rifle.

Well, I found a while ago that there is a mp3 player that is built into a AK-47 magazine. Here is the link for all you hardcore audio enthusiests.

http://www.audiobooksforfree.com/kalashnikov/Ak-mp3.asp

I can already picture the explaination to the cops "But but, officer, it's a mp3 player! See, headphones, music, audio, buttons!@ Britney fricking Smears!. Honest!"

And the cop will be like "hands where I can see them. Get down on your knees with your hands behind your head. NOW!!"

I can so see that happening to some poor unfortunate person who has a cop with a hard-on for thier job to not even take into account it's mp3 player then make a motion to BAN those mp3 players. Oh wow, I can surely see the anti-gun people and the RIAA/MPAA all getting into the same bed now and the cops handing out condoms to the anti's and RIAA and tagging along. Wow, if you can get on the plane with that let me know how to get away with it. I'm sure you'd have to prove beyond a frigging doubt it's a mp3 player.

If it advertises 800 FPS using the heaviest pellet what is the speed you can slow the FPS down to? I was hoping to use heavies to keep the gun aruond the 500fps level so I do'nt get in trouble and incase anyone takes a chrono I can give them the heaviest pellets and they can check it and it'll be o.

ANyways I need to go now.

The advertised velocity of 800 fps for the XS B3 is

September 3 2003, 7:00 AM

incorrect or not the truth. In reality  you will obtain around 600 fps in .177.

Hmm..

I'm wondering if anything did this before for fun seeing how I got the HP's in the post above.

Take some HP's and fill the cavity with blackpowder or guncotton and when you're shooting targets. I think it'll give you a "echo" when the powder/cotton hits the target. Sounds like fun but wondering if anyone can try this out and give some results.

Ok, I'm out now.

Close. My niegbor does. We went shooting a while back and we exchanged guns for the day. Its not to bad of a gun really. The realistic Fps is more like mid 500's. He bought it because it said it was 800 fps. I mean it is if you use the platic hyper velocity ammo.

Matt:

How is the handling? Smooth trigger action? How much do you guage the trigger pull was? Well I tend to like using the Crosman copperhead 7.9gr .177 pellets so I'm sure if it's mid-500's that with a 7.9gr it will drop down to 500ish or less which would be perfect here.

Was he using a .22 or .177 model? I'd like to know the chono on the .22 or a rough fps.

I'm considering getting the AK-47 airgun and using 10-12gr for .177's or say 16gr (I think it was 16gr) that someone mentioned before. Hyper plastic ammo really is useless. To me it seems if you're within 5meters then perhaps it'll be useful but for hunting or target shooting it's not even worth the money or the effort which is why I use the heavier ammo to offset the fps if it's a bit over 500.

18 gr .177 !!

November 2 2003, 8:06 AM

OMG! Iwas just checking this thread out after a long recess from the forums.

I hope everyone had a good halloween. It was mixed feelings up here where not that far away some SOB abducted a 9yr old girl which was broadcasted on America's Most Wanted ( Nov 1/2003 ). Sadly I was too tired and passed out before 2100 EST. I hope someone taped it and can encode it. I'd like to see what they saw about the case.

Well after looking on the pyramid air website I noticed 18gr .177 pellets. I was shocked and floored in silence or movement for a second. Last I recall I think it was 14gr was the heaviest ammo. I was totally wow'ed by this and thought I'd post a comment here.

Has anyone tried any of the 12-18gr heavy ammo on the 1077? I'd love to know the results based on a fresh tube of co2, the distance before drop, and max. effective impact distance if taking out say a squirrel. Mind you I have a Canadian model so I'm supposedly regulated at 495 fps but till I have chrony to measure the actual speed on 7.9gr crosmans I'll still have my doubts that it's 495fps but more like 430fps'ish.

Dark:

I take it you own this AK-47 airgun? I keep seeing all these websites with the listings of the fps from 500-850 fps for .177/.22 .

If the box is printed that the gun does not exceed 495fps then the overstating of the FPS on the online stores is false advertising then. Hmm. if so then I wonder if there is a way to get back at the stores like getting the BBB on them for false advertising.

Anyways, does anyone know any brands and models of airgun scopes that will work on springers? I'm not looking to break the bank for the scope but I don't want anything that will flake out on me in like a month of repeated shooting each day.

Does the gun have an adjustable trigger? How is the trigger pull? How heavy is the pull?

For your scope prblem. I recomend any scope you would use on a .22, I've heard Canadian Tire has them in display cases. I know we have lots of cheap ones that work great here at Wal-mart and BIG5 Sporting Goods. Hope this helps.

Halloween was ok I guess. Got to shoot at some drunk teenagers with a paintball gun because they wouldn't leave my friends niegbors house alone while they were gone on vacation. The egged the hell out of it and were blowing up pumpkins that they stole on there door step. Called the police, Police didn't show up. So my friends father decided to take manners in to his own hand. And we joined in. Ne ways, I didn't hear about the girl being abducted. I hope they find the guy that did it and burn his dick off.

I've seen the .22 scopes at Canadian Tire before. Oddly I can't seem to get them to attach securely to the 1077 before so I bought a Crosman 4x32mm Target Finder for $49.99 CDN (I think I paid that amount. THe price has not changed since 2000 www.canadiantire.ca and if they ask for a postal code enter "A" and enter. Thier system for postal codes suck"

Don't forget we have Wallyworlds up here as well. Kmart desolved like 10 years ago up here andI don't think they evensold airguns there but that is passe and not around anymore so I'm not going on anymore with the Kmart thing. Wallyworld here has pretty much anything that Canadian Tire sells except air handguns. Seems like Wally up here has that "F.U.D" thing with air handguns image. Who knows, if the anti's had thier way Wally and Canadian Tire won't be selling them. I mean look at Chapters in Canada. They stopped selling the Airguns Illustrated and any gun magazines because it "hurts thier image". Don't know about you but that censorship there really gets to me. Ok, I'm leading onto a rant and I'll stop on that for I can totally unleash a can of rantage here how a store that big you can't find the stuff you want.

Oh and about the girl getting abducted in a E.Smart style let me find a link. Here it is. Read up.

Walther CP Sport .177 (recently bought and not opened for 2-3 weeks now. No time ;_;)
Walther .177 PPK blowback
RWS .22 Career707 PCP

Those are the only trigger pulls I can relate to. I know it's sad for me to say this but I've never shot or owned a Daisy Red Ryder but I hope to own one, one day as part of the airgun collection and history thing.

Thanks.

Edit
Wait, is the trigger pull the same as the Daisy 645 in DA or SA mode?

I'm not sure if they are all the same gun or have different methods of charging the air into the gun. As far as I know Compasseco told me that thier TechForce AK-47 clone (forgot what model number) cocks and loads the ammo from the side like a "sliding" port and you don't need to break-the-barrel to cock it.

I'm not sure if the guns listed above as the same as the one Compaseco has. I also found this at Funsupply <a href="http://www.funsupply.com/parts.html</a" target=_new>http://www.funsupply.com/parts.html</a>; and the reason why I posted the prices and the guns above is because of the "B3-1" which I am wondering if that model number means the guns on the sites listed above are the same as the ones at Funsupply?

Thanks in advance and whoever told me that trigger thing I still need to know if the trigger pull is that is the Daisy 645 air pistol in Double Action (DA) or Single Action (SA) mode.

EDIT
What does UNDERLEVER mean and can someone please get me a diagram so I can see the explaination because I'm more of a visual learner.

Just bumping the post to see if someone can comment on it.
