Just wondering if anyones chronied there 1077...I understand manufacturers usually exaggerate and was wondering if you guys knew what the average was w/standard 7-8g pellets...Also, do different c02 brands perform beter? probably not...
The Canadian "C stamp on reciever" is about 430fps with 7.9gr from what I recall someone who chrono'ed thiers on the web. I can't verify that without a chrono but I find independent reports on the web to be pretty good for some source info but it's always best to confirm things.
Here is a idea that just hit my head. Go the local paintballl range and ask them if they can chrono your airgun for you. Make it worth the guys while and hand them a $5 CDN (I think that's like $2.50 USD?) or something and say you wanna test the power of your airgun. Make it damn clear that you have common sense that you are not going o use it ni the game but jsut wanted to test the airgun because you don't have the equipment at home. Gun Ranges would probably charge you a jesus to get into the range then test something.

You said it alright. I've always found Texas to be a magical place. Guns, BBQ, wild west clothing (without people making fun of you), did I mention BBQ? MMmm MMmm ribs. drools I swear I need to go to TX one day for a 3 day rib fest. Any good places for ribs down there as a heads up if I ever have time to make it down and if the borders are not locked up like a prison cell. :P

I've always been a big fan of Rudy's Bar-B-Q...you buy your half pound of chopped beef, they give you a loaf of bread, a bottle of sauce, and a jar of pickles and you have at it. It doesn't get much better than that!
