Matthew, the valves are fairly simple

an o-ring, spring, stem, stem seal, snap ring and a few washers.

crosman used this type of valve in their revolvers for years, the older valves used a threaded brass end cap to hold everything together, the newer valves use a snap ring.

the snap ring type valves are more difficult to assemble, it's a three handed affair most days and they also have a tendency to leak immediately after reassembly, the older style valve design aligned the stem seal better.

the 1008, 2210 and 357 also use the same style valve as the 1077 but with different housings.
