I got a 1077 last summer and since then i have had alot of fun with it, after 2 months i noticed some loseness to the gun so i opened it up and made sure everything was in place properly, i oiled the barrel and a month later the proformance had droped so dramaticaly i lost interest in it. I cheaked the temperatures also.It dosent have the abblility to penetrate a tin anymore.

Now that it is winter and i cant shoot at all the pellets get stuck in the barrel 2 or third shot.

I am interested in geting my FAC or geting a new airgun but all the airguns are single shot or co2, why dosnet crossman make and electical repeater or a proper .22 boltaction spring? could some one tell me how to make my 1077 more powerfull.

(note stronger springs dont help because this is a C02 rifle)

Thz Siris

The performance sucks on mine too

and i think just about anyone who does own a 1077 that has been modified for Canada is disappointed in its performance. There are alot of people looking to increase its power, but so far no one has come out with anything to do that and no one has any ideas that will work. I put the softest spring i could find in my valve and it made no difference.

note to all a shorter and stronger or even just a heavier coil spring will help the harder the hammer hits the pin the longer the vlave stays open and the more gas get out increase performace but you will use more co2 but hey small price to pay for more power,,, i have an air auto II that puts out 495 fps and i have an increase tip for yas stronger hammer spring helps alot to increases the foot pounds but the 28 inch barrel i added onto the original doubles the FSP you want more fsp from the 1077 then add more barrel and a heavier hammer spring muzzle breaks will slow down your gun "real muzzle breaks that is "

just like to add to what you said about tuning the 1077,apparently if you not only put in a stronger hammer spring,
but if you actually increase the weight of the hammer by drilling and pluggin` it with some lead ,you should get some
considerable improvements.Do a search for ,doug`s shooting pages
tuning the walther cp88.He`s got about 30 to 40 feet per second
increase from doing this.I will try this myself when I get around to having a look inside.

Keep in mind that everythign you do to make the hammer hit harder will make the trigger an even more pain in the but to pull. but hey if you can get the gun to shoot 900 fps then by all means i think the sarafice for the trigger is well worth it
