Yah the trolls have been annoying. I think we should also make this forum more family friendly and spelling/grammar friendly as well. I'm not really a grammar nazi per-say, but I just am voicing my opinions. I have seen a lot of posts with this "u r", "your (when you mean YOU'RE aka YOU ARE". I've gone off one my soapbox before about the education system and people and the way they type. Gak, if you really want to read up on that rant then look in the archives of this forum and I'm sure you will find it.
I /LOVE/ the IP tracking bit. The registering bit is "ok". I was thinking if any hardcore coders here can think of a way (perhaps EZboard has language filters for profanity?) of making any swear words come out like "$*%*#(%*#$(" or something. Yes there are ways around it but if it cuts down 20% of the "immature" behaviour then it's better then nothing.
I also have some other ideas to further improve the community bonding and sharing but I'll keep that out of the public post for now and get in contact (or you can contact me Matt. That's a better idea
) and see how the forum can improve and grow.
As always I've always admired a few and many people on this board for thier wisdom and openess to help others. I can't name them all but some of the top of my head are Theodare, Matt, Charles, etc too many to remember right now and the list is a bit long.
I do hope the transition to EZboard is smooth and that the topics and data in this forum are able to migrate over without any hiccups.
