I just recently got my new 1077 rifle. It works great except that the gun always seems to always shoot too low. I can't use my scope because (admittedly it is a cheap 4x15 target finder) the elevation adjustment knob adjusted all the way up won't compensate enough.
Frustrated, I took off the scope, and tried shooting with the optic sight. I need to set the rear sight elevator all the way to the MAX in order to score a decent shot (still about 0.2" low) at THREE feet! (I won't be able to adjust the elevator any further for shots say 10 yards out!)
Just wondering if anyone knew: Is this problem fixable? Or is this a defect in the gun itself, and I should ask the company to replace it?
Hey matt,
after last summer i was haveing a very similar problem but if it is the barrel simply open it up and move the back of the barrel down this is what i had to do after droping it onto gravel. It improved the problem 10fold but now it's winter and it's a useless piece of crap, the only good part of this gun is the semi-auto which i can empty in under 2 seconds (dam squirrel). if this dosent work you may have to get it repaired profesional because this is not natural.

ps dose any one noe where i can get more magazines not rotary clips but the big black thing.
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried unlocking the barrel and putting it back in place. It shoots very precisely as it usually does, except that it always shoots low! Same problem basically.
I've thought of getting a better scope that allows for more vertical adjustment but I'm opting more towards sending a complaint to the company about the gun being defective.
Thanks for the tip. Sorry, I'm somewhat green when it comes to the technical side of air rifles. I'm not quite sure how to flip the barrel.
Wouldn't the elevator and the rear sight get in the way of spinning the barrel around?
I've read in some forum about bad crowns causing errors. Are they errors similar to the one that I have? And is it easy to fix? I read something about sanding it even or something, but I am not sure what to make of all that.
I think a crownin would be a good idea but get it done profesionaly. but in the mean time simply open up ur gun and rotate the actual barel inside the larger barel caseing.
