Hi ,Ive just recently bought a woodstocked 1077,and must say it`s a lot
better than expected!.It`s the first co2 rifle I`ve tried.Had various
BSA and Weihrauch springers in the past, and yes their power was better
but definately not as much fun.Ive been looking through this forum for
modifications but they seem a bit scratchy to say the least(mainly power
increases)does anyone have any easy ,understandable,tuning tips?.Although
Ive not had it in pieces yet, there are one or two UK sites that have some
good ideas, but maybe someone who`s had one apart may be able to try their
ideas?.

Oh man, thats a tuff one, I have tried my hardest to make a .22 mod for it..... im not that good with calculating the rotation bumps on the round part, but if i could get it to calculate and evenly space out a .22 in place of the .177 or get a .22 hole to match up with each rotation of the clip, then barrel wasping would be no problem, other then that. you can definetly deck it out for looks :D

Even if you did convert it to .22, you would have to get a more powerful power source to get the pellet to go farther since the pellet is heavier then a .177. You would lose about 200 fps or more since a good .22 weighs about 15 gr. The gun would have to be at least 500-700 fps with the .22 to get any effect on targets. If you need a bigger ring for the pellets, then maybe you could get a thin piece of metal and put holes in it but thick enough for the pellets to stay in.
