| I've owned my 1077 for about a year and a half and have been very satisfied with it, but now, for some odd reason, it only shoots accurately within the first clip, then after that it's lobbing pellets. what's the problem? I've disassembles this gun several times, cleaned it, oiled it and re assembled it and no change? |

when you say lob i assume your only talking about accuracy, not fps right? Well the fact that it will shoot accuratly in the first clip eliminates a lot of factors like barrel fowling, crown, barrel movement etc. So it only leaves a few choices
1. Could just be a cowincidence (sp) that for a few carts in a row you have loaded good pellets in the first clip but the second clip had many deformed pellets. Or mabye you noticed it once or twice and then because you kind of "wanted" to see it happen it became true. Both of these dont seem very likely.
2. I guess the only real good explaination that fits your perameter that it shoots good at first is that your fps drops noticable causing the pellets to be less acurate. Mabye the pellets you are using prefer higher velocities. Mabye the range from which you are shooting from is to far for the decrease in velocity, mabye the weather is too cold or you are firing to rapidly causing the co2 to cool down substancialy.
I would say make sure all the pellets are good, wait for warm enough weather, be patient between shots, and most importantly do exactly everything the same as you had done for the first clip. Good luck. | |
