WOULD A 22. RWS 94 BE A GOOD HUNTING RIFLEAT ABOUT 20-40 YARDS OU? AND DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE COCKING EFFORT IS?

I had a RWS/Diana 48 .22 side cocker - and I can tell you it's enough power to take down anything coon size and under with one shot - about 1/2 the time it would pass through a squirl.

One thing you have to watch with the side cocking RWS/Diana guns is the spring life I'm told 2000 shots and the spring is done (I sold mine after about 1500) If it's a break barel model it should last much longer.

On just about all of the RWS/Diana break barel guns figure 30lbs cocking effort.
