I'am thinking about getting the 1077,and i just wanted to know if its worth its money, because i bought a remington airmaster77 about a year ago for $60 and it still works fine.and ive got a problem with coons around my house because there is about 10 acres of land behind my house and my airmaster only gets one shot then i got to pump it about 20 times get a pellet into it(which is a pain in the ass).So if you have and advice please write back.

hey, for coons i like my xs-b20 or a b21 would work great. also look at the qb78 in 22 here is a link to it http://airrifle-scope.netfirms.com/onlinestore/nfoscomm/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=1_36&products_id=43

they also sale the b21 the qb would work well out to about 30 yards and the b21 out to 50 or so yards hope that helps

The 1077 is not a hunting gun. It is a fun plinking gun.

Some will disagree with me but to be humane you need something with more power.

I agree 100%...

1077 is not a hunting gun. Get an RWS 34 in .22 or look at the Shark Air Shotgun and load it with a lead ball. Pick a humane way to take the critters, the 1077 is not a humane killer. I had to shoot a rat three times in the body before the 1077 stopped it. Yes, I could have got a head shot, but I want to see what a center body shot would do to stop a pesky rat. Save this gun for mice and sparrows if you plan on humanely killing something.

Shoot well, be well,

your 1077 can be a hunting gun.... but with alot of time, money, and upgrades. by the time you get the 1077 up to hunting status for larger game. your best of spending the $$$$ on a good springer if i do say so myself. the fast deer is a nice gun once properly modified.
