re: Winchester

I have a friend who has one he uses for pest control, and he really likes it. Review Centre is a good site to check out people's opinions of air rifles:

Being a fairly powerful breakbarrel rifle, the Winchester is not at all like the 1077. If you want to try a different mid-power CO2 gun, try something like a Chinese QB-78.

Difference in power btween QB-78 and 1077?

say they are same caliber? you have multi shot advantage in the 1077.

Isnt the qb78 a copy of a crossman C02 rifle also? if yes, isnt the crosman better?

Thanks a lot..
Joe..

QB78/1077 Comparison

May 18 2006, 6:28 AM

I actually don't own a QB78; what I know about them comes from reading the Chinese Airgun Forum.

They are supposed to be more powerful (closer to 700 fps in 0.177) and more accurate than the 1077. They use two powerlets at a time to get about 50 shots. They are a copy of the Crosman 160, which is probably a better quality gun if you could even find one anymore.

I'll probably get one sometime, because so many people rave about them, and they are less than $100. I think that Jeff needs to fix his 1077 - you can't beat that repeater for just plain fun....
