you can use any type of pellet you prefer as long as it fits in the magazine, mine seems to shoot best with light daisy pointed. just make sure nothing hangs out either end as this could stop the clip from rotating. we tried gamo rockets, they protruded just a bit but the clip still turned alright but there was no accuracy at all.
