I just bought a 1077 yesterday and am very pleased with it. Now as for my question what can I do that is simple to incerease the velocity a little. I would like to be around the 700fps range if possible. Thanks for all your help,
I've tried one simple mod to my daughter's 1077 that seemed to make a noticable increase in power. when you open your gun notice how the hammer spring is hooked on. remove this spring and take a couple of coils off and reshape the end so it will hook back on the post like it was. another easy mod i have'nt tried yet is to add weight to the hammer itself (glue a piece of lead to the back of the hammer), another easy thing to help improve accuracy is to get some spray in insulation, the kind that comes in a spray can with a long tube and shoot some between the outer sleeve and the barrel itself. this helps to reduce movement of the barrel. don't use a whole lot, just put the tube down the sleeve and squirt as you pull it back out. a couple of inches is plenty. enjoy your 1077 and remember to shoot safe and shoot often.

it is most definately not a toy. As for the CO2 part, yes it changes how many shot you will get out of a cartridge. I used to get 6 clips(4 good ones velocity wise) and now I only get 3(2 good ones velocity wise). Happy new year and be safe,
