where is the best place to buy the 1077 is british columbia. I would like to purchace this gun as a step up from my crosman 1008. plese let me know thanks
Canadian Tire and (some) WalMarts carry it. Current CrapTire price is $129.99 with the AirSource adapter in the box- but last fall they had them on sale for $99.99- but I don't know if that only occurs on pellet/air guns due to special promos or a seasonal sale (i.e. late summer) sort of thing. If you local CrapTire doesn't have it on the shelf- they can order it from the Toronto warehouse(s) and have it within a few days.
No- it is one of their "stock" items- you can even find it on their website ("for store purchase only"). So, you go in to your local store, tell them you want it (bring a printout of the webpage from their site to prove the point) and they can order it- at no additional expense to you.
Thanks for helping me with finding where to buy the 1077 i still have 1 more question on the internet canadian tire does not have the 1077 so should i just get a print out from a different store ?
Interesting- it's no longer on their website (I just checked, sometimes using different postal codes emits different results). I swear it was on their like a month ago.
You can still go to any Canadian Tire store, go to the sporting goods dept. and tell them you want a Crosman 1077AS (AirSource) which is what they were carrying. Give them the Crosman part number (which is AS1077T) to reference and hopefully they can help. I might suggest you go in the middle of a weekday to get a "full time" employee- not a highschool kid who's only manning the counter and watching the clock.
Otherwise, you're stuck with mail-order or perhaps local sporting goods stores (I have no idea who's in BC- I'll see if I can find out). I'll check something with someone in Vancouver and get back to you soon.
Buying it you would save on sales taxes (BC does have those?)- but you can also order it brand new through an online retailer for $129.99 CDN plus tax.
