okay....i purchased the predator premium pointed hunting http://www.pyramidair.com/cgi-bin/pellet.pl?pellet_id=352 and they have this tinny pointy red arrow head in the front of them (it is detachable) but i dont seem to be able to fit them into the 1077....so my question is....does anyone no how to make them work or wat are the better alternatives..........also should i use the smooth ammo or the ones with the lines on them? thanx alot

I'm assuming by "not fitting" you mean they are too long and won't allow the magazine to fit in the loader? If so- you're probably stuck using regular pointed pellets in the 1077.

As for lines/no lines- I've always assumed the lined pellets are for those people that use a pellet/BB combo gun where the rifling (if there ever was any in such a combo gun) gets worn out by the BBs and the lines on the pellet will help it rotate as it comes through the barrel. However, as a 1077 is rifled, and won't accept BBs- you should be just fine with the smooth pellets. I might also think that the lined pellets won't add any accuracy to a properly rifled barrel- but may reduce velocity vs. a smooth pellet. Maybe somebody else has actually done a side-by-side comparison to tell for sure- I haven't.

thanks man....uve really helped!...............I just decided to take my leatherman and pry out the plastic points (which are easily taken out) and now i have hallow point pellets!lol
