HEY Guys....
Seems like a good time to post this great info!!!! I purchased last yr from an engineer from Crosman, the 1st 1077 off the line... Serial 393000001!!! Right from the guy who designed & engineered it!!! Boxed, unfired!!! Told Crosman if he designed it he wanted the 1st 1!! Havent gotten the signed paper work on it yet.. but made the PH call to him & will get it authenticated!!! See what happens to value then..

I BOUGHT THIS GUN FROM A GUY ON EBAY WHO SAID HIS DAD OWNED PART OF CROSMAN AND THIS WAS THE FIRST GUN OF THE 1077 EVER MADE. I HAVE IT IN WRITING SO SORRY BOUT YOUR LUCK, BUT MINE IS 0001 SN.GOT IT!
OK,
Lets do some easy math & compare serial #'s........The Crosman 1077 was being designed & made in "early" 93'..393 Stands for March of 93'.. 000001 stands for # 1.. thus 893 stands for August 93'..010001 Stands for "TEN THOUSAND"& 1..So how was mine serial #'d before yours???? in 5 mths they probably made 10 thousand of them. You can get this "date of manufactor" info off the crosman web. Which states. 1st 3 or 4 digits tell the mth & yr of manufactor..& Been visiting Crosman for 15 yrs+ I know quite a few of people @ Crosman Im sure Roger Thompson(the 35yr employee
& 1077 engineer) & I could look up your "Ebay" buddy @ Crosman & find out why he mislead you. Just email me his name..
