Hi,

Just bought a crosman 1077 and used 7 co2 units and only with one it worked good the others were no good . after every shot i have to wait 30sec forthe next shot has enough power. only 1 unit worked fine just as fast you can pull the trigger and the power was good, this was the 3rd unit. How can this happen ?
Just bad co2 units ?

Maybe the cartridges aren't getting pierced well enough. Make sure the "screw" is really tight. It might be the CO2, but if you went through 7 of them, it's probably not.

Or else maybe the piece of metal that pierces the CO2 is defective. I don't know how to disassemble the gun (there is a guide on this site somewhere) or else maybe you'd need to contact Crosman. Just a couple of thoughts...

The hole of the one co2 unit that worked is just as big as the ones that didn't
work. I the made sure the "screw" is really tight. Even tried a coin after the co2 unit to make it even more tight with no effect.

I will buy some co2 unit from another store and see of the problems stay if so i will send the gun back for a new one. Cause with the one co2 unit that worked i was very impressed and i sure want a 1077.

(sorry for my english i'm from holland)

Finally i got my crosman 1077 back, sent it back to the store after very slow mail-contact . and almost 2 months later it's back. Works great now. Still don't know what the problem was. sent a few mails but no response.

Will get my co2 and pellets from another store now.

USE PelGunOil

I tell every one... Use PelGunOil on every Co2. Never put them in dry. It ruins the piercing tip if it is dry. You can also hole punch the Co2 leaving metal in the system if dry.

Use Crosman Brand Co2's they have an oil in them to lube the internal parts. The cheap stuff is just that... cheap. I usualy get 5-6 more full power shots with Crosman Co2's compaired to Brass Eagle.

Need a Muzzle Break or Hand Guard for that puppy?

I have both on eBay right now! Just go to eBay and search Crosman 1077

Joe
