Still up in the air as to what gun to get next, have a Benji 397, bear to pump, looking for a fun gun that will not cost a lot of money. The 397 is scoped with a cheap 4 X 32 Center-Point and is fun but gets old with all the pumping sometimes. About got it down to 2 Co2 units, a 1077 and a Crosman 2250 or a Daisy 953. Not a hunter, don't know how to mod one but would like an accurate gun I can put a cheap scope on and take out a few pests from my fig, pear trees and garden. Been doing a lot of reading and haven't learned too much as most posters seem to like the hi $ power guns. Also have read that you need to put a drop of Pellgunoil on each Co2 cartridge before loading, would have to order as there is none around here, can you use anything else if you run out? Can you tell I don't know much about air rifles?

I ordered a 2250 from Crosman custom shop today and found this on an oiling powerlet search on another forum.

I order Pelgun oil from Pyramyd Air. Gun oil can be hard on seals. As for pests, if you're taking birds, rodents, squirrel sized pests a 2250 will do fine.
