1077W-BF

My latest personal project...

For my 1077W... I wanted to Bulk it and keep clean lines... So a bulk tank or Air Source is out of the question...

Now there is some damage to the stock... It got stepped by UPS... Go figure... So I am in the process of repairing and refinishing...

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

As my fellow 1077 fans know... You just can't put a fill on the end of the tube a pressurize it... Due to the access hole to change out the Co2 powerlet seal.

So I put my thinking cap on and came up with this little gizmo... 0.75 O.D. x 1.75" bar aluminum turned down just a smidge grooved for o-rings to seal up the gas tube and a tip to mate with the powerlet seal

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Sorry for the cruddy photos... camera phones and the fluorescent lighting in the shop do not play well with each other...

Well you also need a spacer to press it to the powerlet seal. A simple section of .75 aluminum tubing will do cut to the right length

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Then add one of Ron's/B&As 2250 extension tube BF adapter, a QD set and vola! A bulk fill 1077 The cool thing about B&A's Fill... is it has the check valve built in so you don't need a one way foster fitting.

The tube is now sealed and ready to fill.

Most of the remotes for a paint ball guns have the QDs on them now and I still have to order mine I did fill it with 200psi from my shop compressor to check for leaks and had no problems

Will do pops.

I got this one second hand.

This one is my winter project. I have allot of work to do on her.

Once the remote fill kit gets here, I will fill it up and get a count. Then do it again once I do the mods. Her innards are stock for now...

Can I get one?

Thats extremely cool. Once you've got it tested and perfected will you be producing them for sale?

Most likely I will produce them.

Testing is vital... I don't want anyone to get hurt.

I will say this... with the design of the 1077's internal air system... I would not recomend anyone trying to fill past the 850psi mark. So no HPA/PCP...

You would still have to get the 2250 Extension and fill end from Ron at B&A. I think it was a little over $50 for both B&A parts.

The extension will only fit 1077's made from 1999 - pressent. The old ones have different threads.

The easy way to tell the diff... The newer 1077's came stock with the fiber optic front sight.

Please explain bulk filling

January 15 2009, 9:02 AM

Joe,
I'm not familiar with the technical aspects of bulk filling. Can you give a brief explanation of how this would work?

For instance, would I need to purchase a large canister of bulk co2? Is this an expensive proposition?

How do I transfer co2 from a bulk source into the gun? Is there something to regulate how much is transferred and how much pressure is created?

Is your system reversible or are permanent modifications to the gun required?

Bulk FIll 1077

January 29 2009, 7:45 PM

Hey Guys... I have been working too hard lateley. Sorry I did not get back to you earlier.

Testing went great!... I will start producing these over the next few weeks and they will be available on my site & ebay. www.muzzlemack.com

I will do a better write up on Friday. My back is killing me so I am taking the day off. Not to mention it is going to be a nice day to shoot. I might even brake out the crony for some numbers.

This kit is so simple... even a caveman can do it. ha ha... I ordered another Bulk fill end from Ron @ B&A so I can do my 1077 tactical. I will not be using the extension... The gun is heavy enough with all the other goodies on it. Plus I want to do a shot count with and with out the extension.

My end of the kit will probably sell for around $25 for the basic... another $25 if you want to have the gauge kit option. Ron's end you are looking at another $50 with the extension...

This is for Co2 Use Only! I doubt the rest of the gun can handle HPA...

You fill it with a regular Paint ball tank and a remote kit. Tanks average around $20 for a 12 oz. I have seen the remote kits on ebay also arround $20...
Filling is simple and automaticly regulated by the 850 psi of Co2 in the paint ball tank. You just hook up with your Quick Diconect (QD) turn your supply tank upside down to get the liquid Co2... and turn on the valve. It is so quick... that it only takes a few seconds to fill. Turn off the valve. Blead off the excess Co2 in the line and disconect... thats it and your are ready for lots of full power shots.

Kewel thing is... If you have a 2240, 2250, 2260 or 2300.... Get a bulk kit from Ron... and you will never go back to powerlets.

Nice thing... if you do not use the gauge option... there is no modifing the gun. It can be reversed or transferd to another 1077 with a little effort.
