Does anyone know......

The thread size of the screw cap that secures the CO2 capsule? Mine is the later model with the finer thread.

And has anyone fitted an 88g or similar cylinder horizontally under the barrel using that screw thread with an adapter? I really don't like the verticle mounting position or the Crosman Airsource adapter.

Thanks.

Hi Poacher,

I don't think there is enough clearance between the centreline of the gas tube & the bottom of the barrel to fit an 88g cylinder underneath.

The other thing, is that the gas tube (where a 12g powerlet resides) is not a sealed tube. There is a hole in the bottom to help change seals etc near the powerlet piercing assembly. Its not as straightforward.

Joe Mc at Muzzle Mac has developed a nice looking system http://muzzlemack.com/BulkFill1077.aspx).

I hope this helps,

Matt W
