I just replaced the seal in my 1077 and it does not leak at all. However the co2 blast is not enough to push out the pellet, or even move it out of the clip. What is going on here? I can feel the co2 coming of the barrel, very weak blast.
Remove the clip/magazine. Is the round magazine inserted and locked properly in the clip? (you slid the pin in place so the magazine rotates freely.)
Is the barrel locked in the correct position (tab/wings in the rearward and down position)?
With the clip/magazine removed, fire the gun. Does it still fire weak?
Did you tighten the CO2 powerlet enough (hand tighten only) so that the piercing pin is making a clean hole in the tip?
Point the gun in a safe direction. Turn it upside down and fire several blank shots. Any change?
Those are the ones I can think of to check before I'd disassemble the gun.
After that, I'd start with checking/cleaning the CO2 seal, piercing pin, and mesh filter. Check those, then if the problem persists, move through the rest of the CO2 plumbing.
I disassembled the valve unit and put it back together seeing nothing wrong. gun now shoots eratic as far as power goes , misfires alot. Sounds like a dirty valve/pipe. I blew all passages out with lung power. Should I use compressed air ? I would sure like to solve the problem, as this my favorite airgun when it is functioning properly. Any ideas ?
