Hi All,

The mods to my 1077 are near completion, so I thought I'd share a photo with you guys. It's a prototype, so still needs a tidy & a paint job

Since being given a 1077 last year, I have modded as follows.

1. Fitted a home made steel fabricated skeleton stock with hand made wooden pistol grip & butt pad. Also fitted a bolt on cheek piece + fore end pistol grip.

2. Fitted hand made Delrin barrel stabilisers + a top secret, self designed power adjuster system to produce more power / CO2 efficiency.

3. Hand made Delrin Silencer + Baffles (I live in the UK)

4. Hammer & Trigger Spring mods

5. Bulk fill system with Quick Release coil remote hose + belt mounted bottle.

At present I can get 24 full power shots (I am running at approx 9 ft lbs at 20 Celsius) + 12-ish usable plinking shots from a 12 g powerlet.

At 18 yards I can fire Prometheus PPP1 pellets straight through a full can of chopped tomatoes.

The rifle is 40" long & despite the steel stock it is lightweight & very manouverable.

This is a gun tailor made to suit my 6' 2" frame & has been built for rat hunting, indoor (barn) pigeon shooting & Soda Can Busting.

Next project.... I am convinced that a 1077 can be converted to 0.20" caliber with a new barrel & a modded rotary magazine !!!

Cheers,

Matt W

PS

If anyone wants any mods doing to there 1077, I am an ex UK Government trained tool maker & degree qualified Mechanical Engineer. I have my own workshop with a lathe, drill etc based near Newbury in Berkshire, England.

My career background includes nuclear, pyrotechnic / solid fuel propulsion systems & fluid transfer systems.

I have recently applied for my RFD - Registered Firearms Dealer license(Airguns only) primarily so I can make silencers & do airgun smithing

I have a large quantity of 12 g powerlets which are available for 32 pence each + postage (or pick up if preferred) or can put together bulk fill systems.

Additionally I have access to heavily discounted Crosman goods, parts, pellets, magazines, pellgun oil, etc

Hi Matt,
I would certainly be interested in a power upgrade, 10fpe would be nice dont mind a reduced shot count (2 mags worth). Have you also considered tuning XS/QB 78/79's they are quite popular here in the UK. I will drop you an email to confirm.

Regards

Steve.

Hi Matt.

Great job man. Looking foward to see what kind of mod's someone with all your wisdom can bring here, specially on bulk filling issues.
My son and I made a very humble attempt to also create one. (Nothing compare to yours.)
You can watch it on our june 27 post, or go to:

Also, and since we live in an urban eviroment, we are very interested on shrouds.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks Alvin,

It's a fun rifle to shoot & also to tinker with.

What do you mean my friend when you mention shrouds ?

Thanks again,

Matt W
