. . . Former U.S. ambassador to Cambodia continues criminal POW/MIA cover-up
When Ambassador Charles A. Ray was appointed in September 2005 as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for POW/Missing Personnel Affairs and Director of the Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO), he promised to leave "no stone unturned" in his effort to secure a full accounting of America's missing in action.
During the June 2007 National Alliance of POW/MIA Families meeting in Washington, D.C., Ray, formerly the U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, pointedly refused to answer questions about the newly published book, An Enormous Crime, The Definitive Account of American POWs Abandoned in Southeast Asia.
An Enormous Crime, written by former Congressman Bill Hendon (R-NC) and attorney Elizabeth A. Stewart expose the reasons why the U.S. knowingly left behind hundreds of American soldiers in 1973 and provide stunning evidence that Americans are still living in captivity now.
