after 14 days is what we were told was the waiting period...that if he came into contact with someone infected, that he could still get it, but that after the waiting period, it was far less likely. Even if we hadn't gotten the shot, I'd be cautious, but would still go out...germs are EVERYWHERE, can't hide.
