as I have mitral valve prolapse and the heart palpitations can be severe and constant without drugs. Have taken it for about 15 yrs and stayed on it all through my pregnancy. I've worn the 24 hr Halter monitor a half dozen times over the years and found it to be worthless at capturing and recording any "events". Good luck! Hope the palpitations stop, they can be quite bothersome.
