A member of my church who is an older lesbian and recent seminary graduate who never had kids posted this to Facebook. I posted in my yellow board pep talk to the ladies still ttc that I can't really enjoy Mother's Day anymore since living through Mother's Days following the death of my mother and when I was trying to conceive. My church is usually very reserved about how it observes Mother's Day, but when I attended a more mainstream denomination, the ceremony around Mother's Day could be less sensitive.
