I did end up taking Bob to the pedi last night, although it was pretty clear to me that the nanny had seen the scary climax to his illness and overreacted. But he was feverish and clearly uncomfortable when I got home. The pedi did confirm that his ears were OK, the most compelling reason to go. He ate a little ice cream last night and drank a bottle, a big improvement over the night before. And no vomiting.

Freddy never got as sick as Bob, and I'm beginning to feel a little more confident that he won't. Now, if they can just be well in the morning, I just hope they won't freak out too badly when they see it's back to day care.

DH got to put Freddy to bed for the first time by himself. I changed him before I took Bob to the pedi, but he pooped before bedtime, so DH had to do an unexpected and unaccustomed diaper change, LOL. Fred is all about DH right now, so I think he liked the one-on-one time w/daddy.
