I feel for you , dh and your kiddo!
I will say this, all my kids have been AMAZING sleepers from the get go! Have been amazingly lucking in that category. However, first few trips with teh twins, they hated the pack n plays (even though we slept them in their own room a few nighs and in the living room a few nights for some change - no help). We were in Tahoe one trip and I swear we were about 5 min from packing up and driving home at 2am! Luckily we were on an end condo and we called the operator who kindly told us no one was next door or above us but yes below. She agreed to call if there were complaints and we toughed it out.
I wish I had help, it is just what is normal sadly. The twins are almost 4 and the last two trips (since they turned 2.5 yrs old) there have been NO issues!
