Response to Infant night terrors and genetics

It makes sense that it would be a precurser to sleep walking.

My DS has had three or four night terrors - mostly when he was younger (around 1 -- he's 20 m now). The most recent one we were able to wake him up eventually and calm him down. The others were just heart-breaking and scary (esp the first). Very recently he had something similar but I cannot in any way call it a "terror," he was in a dead sleep and had been for over an hour (yes, I confess, in bed with us). Suddenly he sat bolt upright with wide eyes looked at me and gave me a HUGE smile. Turned and looked at DH and gave him a HUGE smile, then back to me again, then, BOOM, his head went back on the pillow and sound asleep again!

I think your LO could have picked up from you happy.gif Honestly, there are so many things that my LO does that make me forget the genetics b/c it is SO me...I'm just convinced it's possible!
