The ob/gyn group I was with rarely do c-section before 39 weeks. Mine was supposed to be a planned c-section b/c of 2 previous surgeries... of course turned out to be a more urgent c-section at 36 weeks. But I remember them saying they did not like to schedule c-section more than 7 days before day 40. I liked that.
Can't blame you a bit to manipulate the system to set your mind at ease. Lying to doctors has become seond nature to me throughout this ttcing!
