Hey I can't remember when we were discussing Omega 3 supplements for speech delays did you participate in the discussion. I searched the thread and could not find where you participated.
I started Ross (3yrs old) on them in June, I can't remember who suggested it in our lives doctor or friends. I actually think the nutritionist did.
In any case at 3yrs old and diagnosed with apraxia he was at a 2yr level more like a 24 month...maybe making 2 word sentences and trying hard to pronounce words.
Well he has been on them for 3 months and I see a wonderful improvement, not drastic but my worry level has decreased tremendously. I feel like he is progressing nicely and his level of communication over the summer has improved greatly. I would say he is at a 36 month speech level now. He will be 4 in November. So he is still behind but we are encouraged his speech and comprehension now has him progressing nicely. He starts his speech therapy for the new school year on tomorrow and I am sure the therapist is going to be pleasantly surprised.
If you missed the tread search Coromega...thats the supplements we discussed and I bought. I bought the gummies cause Ross threw up the capsules. There are squeeze packs many on the board use also from Coromega.
