2 yr molars, do they tend to come WHEN they turn age 2 or way after?

My twins had teeth early and will be 2 in 3 wks (oh my).

DS could be getting his.

Mine came in a bit before 2

but one of the DS's really suffers and the other doesn't, so I can't say exactly when it was for one of them. The baby who suffers seemed like he was getting them for MONTHS but we'd see nothing! Finally they broke through about 22 mos, I think.
